This Lenten season, I invite you to walk with me through A True-Hearted Yes, Lord!, a six-part journey designed to help us detach from distractions, habits, and comforts that dull our hearts. Instead, we will embrace clarity, purpose, and presence. Let's dive in!
🔥 The Two Certain Moments 🔥
One day, each of us will come to the hour of our death. This moment is certain. And while we do not know when or how it will arrive, we do know that it is coming.
When that hour comes, what will matter most? What will we wish we had done differently? What regrets will weigh on us? More importantly, what peace and joy will we carry, knowing we lived with faithfulness, love, and courage?
The reality of our final hour brings clarity to the moment we are in right now. By looking into our future, we can see our true-heart's desire—our why—and this becomes the guiding force behind the decisions we make today, shaping the legacy we leave behind and the eternity we are moving toward.
Choosing to Live with Eternity in Mind
There are only two paths in life: one that leads us closer to God and one that leads us away. When we allow this truth to sink in, we begin to see our daily choices differently.
Ask yourself:
✨ How do my actions today prepare me for that final hour?
✨ Am I living for what is eternal, or am I clinging to what will pass away?
✨ Does my life reflect a heart that is truly surrendered to God and willing to say, “Yes, Lord!”?
The Gift of Simple Presence
Often, we become tangled in worries about the future or regrets from the past. But we are only given one moment at a time. Embracing the present is an act of trust—letting go of control and allowing God to lead.
This simple presence helps us develop self-awareness, enabling us to recognize the thoughts that enter our hearts and minds:
🔹 Are they leading me toward God or away from Him?
🔹 Are they rooted in truth or deception?
🔹 Do they bring peace or distraction?
By consistently turning to quiet reflection and prayer, we develop the ability to discern and respond rightly. This is a gift—a grace that brings renewal and strength.
Your Invitation This Week: Claiming Your Why
As we begin this Lenten journey, I encourage you to take these steps:
🕊 Reflect on the hour of your death – What will truly matter in that moment?
🕊 Examine your daily habits – Are they shaping the legacy you desire to leave?
🕊 Spend time in silent prayer each day – Start small and simply sit in His love and peace to be filled, allowing God to reveal, guide, and fill you with the graces needed for your unique journey so you can live with greater freedom, clarity, and purpose.
When we live each day with the final hour in mind, we can walk forward with confidence, knowing we are saying Yes, Lord! with our whole hearts.
Your transformation is just a Return to Simple away.
Stay True-Hearted, my friends!
